C’mon woman.

Or should we change that to Woman, c’mon?

Let’s start lifting lids.

Sure we all have invisible canopies and barriers, but have you placed them on other women, or even yourself? Do you approach life with possibilities, or through the lens of your limits? Lids hurt, hinder and hold, not only you, but those around you. I too often watch the limits of insecurities, wounds, upbringings, and personal perspectives carried inside women, destroying women.

If you’re hurting, please do the work. The hard, inner work.
If you’re lacking, do the work. The work on your inner heart work will sustain you not just today but in the journey ahead.

Then Rise.

As you rise, we rise to liberate the voices around us and break the lids.

Honestly, I’m weary from carrying the heartache and pain of seeing women attempting to destroy the potential in other women. I’m tired of witnessing it in the workplace and I’ve lived through it in the church.

Like current signs of the times throughout the pandemic:
Women, let’s wash our hands. Sanitize our hearts. And wear a mask if it’s going to help stop spreading the viruses that kill the spirit in other women.

Let’s break the misperceptions that there’s only one chance, one seat at the tables that were set by men.

The bottom line is, check your level of confidence and your potential opportunity. Is there anything in your heart, your spirit, your mind that ‘worries’ or ‘has concerns’ over the advancement of a female next to you? Gut check, yes?

There’s room at the table for your sister. Her successes are not your demise, nor are they stealing your light.

Let’s stand with one another, for one another.
